One of the most impressive updates is the automatic generation of short summaries for PDF files in Google Drive. When you open a document, Gemini instantly creates a small card with key takeaways, saving valuable reading time. The system also offers helpful suggestions — for instance, drafting an email or generating a list of interview questions based on the document’s content. This feature now supports over 20 languages and has been available since mid-June.
Another useful tool is response summarization in Google Forms. If a form includes open-ended questions and at least three responses, Gemini automatically identifies the main ideas and topics using the form’s title, description, and user input. Coming soon is another convenient function — “Help me create.” With just a few clicks, users will be able to generate new forms automatically. You simply write a short description and, optionally, attach files — Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, or PDFs. Based on that input, Gemini will produce a ready-to-use form, such as a customer survey or data collection template. This tool will be especially useful for companies and individuals who want to create professional forms quickly without extra effort.
